Sports Minister Govind Gaude agreed to bring all sports properties under the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs since there is confusion regarding their maintenance on a suggestion from Margao MLA Digambar Kamat. Gaude also assured to increase the sports quota for constituencies and disburse it after the assembly session. The Sports Quota was not disbursed for two years due to the covid pandemic.
