PANJIM: Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) will declare the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) results on July 12, at 5 pm, which will be based on the internal assessment conducted by the schools.

The evaluation of the students will be based on the marks scored in the different exams for the academic year 2020-21 and performance of Class IX. The results were earlier scheduled on July 13.
The policy document on tabulation of marks for Class X board exams 2021 was circulated to the schools and the training in this regard was held on June 2-3.
The schools were directed to submit the marks based on internal assessment by June 26 to the Board.
The Board will follow its policy of awarding the Sports Merit marks and the condonation marks while preparing the final result.
A total of 23967 students were due to answer their Board exams, which had to be cancelled in view of ongoing COVID pandemic.
