SSC student goes missing in Mapusa

Cops clueless for the last six days; distressed parents run from pillar to post seeking help

PANJIM: A 15-year-old SSC student from Shelpe-Dhuler has been missing since October 9.

According to the Mapusapolice, the student Sahil Mohan Kamble, had left his home to go to school on October 9, 2023, as usual but he did not return in the afternoon.

When his family members inquired, they learnt that Sahil had not reached school. They started a frantic search for him and he was not found. Sahil had left his mobile phone at home while leaving for school.

Finally, his father Mohan Kamble filed a police complaint at Mapusa Police Station. After the complaint was filed, police started an investigation. Sahil’s close friends were questioned but no one has a clue where he has gone.

The Mapusa police and family members of Sahil has been searching for him for the last four years.

Meanwhile, speaking to O Heraldo, Police Sub Inspector Dinesh Kumar Mukhia said a case of kidnapping has been registered as the boy is a minor and the same is being investigated.
