PANJIM: St Andre MLA Francisco Silveira has demanded that the maximum number of jobs at Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim be given to locals from his Constituency. He said 50% of jobs at GMC should be kept for St Andre constituents.
Silveira was speaking in the presence of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and added that he had already submitted his demands to the CM about providing government jobs, across various departments to locals of St Andre. He said the CM agreed to look into the recommendations given by him.
The BJP MLA further gave the list of how many people from St Andre had had already sent in their applications for government jobs
