PANJIM: The office of the Director General of Police (DGP) has allocated staff for the new Mandrem Police Station.
According to an order, a total of 36 staff have been allotted to Mandrem police station, which will be headed by Police Inspector Sherif Jaques.
The police staff include one Police Sub Inspector (PSI), three Assistant Sub Inspectors (ASIs), six head constables, 22 constables and three lady constables.
PI Sherif Jaques was earlier posted at Dabolim Airport police station.
Other police officers who have been posted at Mandrem police station are PSI Kunal S Naik, ASIs Sandeep S Bhonsle, Sunil U Padwal and Anil G Sawant. Sandeep S Bhonsle was earlier posted at SPCR Panjim (R-19 Mapusa), Sunil U Padwal at SPCR Panjim (R-18 Mapusa) and Anil G Sawant, SPCR Panaji (R-27 Bicholim).
