PANAJI: Members of the street providence met Vijay and urged him to include mental health concerns affecting the community in the party’s election manifesto.
The representatives expressed hope that Vijay would support their demand, noting that he had previously raised issues concerning their community in the state Assembly.

Speaking during the meeting, Vijay acknowledged the importance of mental health concerns and said the issue would be considered for inclusion in the manifesto.
“It’s a very important issue and we will include it in the manifesto,” Vijay said.
The representatives said they hoped the proposed inclusion would help bring greater attention to mental health concerns and support measures for members of the street providers community.
