We don’t need his moral policing
We don’t need Muthalik to do moral policing. Pub culture is in Goa since ages and it’s a part of our tourism industry. We have an elected government in the State to take care of the State and there is Anti-Narcotic Cell to take care of drug problems. Government should take sou motu action on Muthalik interview with HERALD where he has made his intensions clear of starting Ram Sene from August this year in Goa. Government silence in Muthalik issue raises concerns for us whether it is trying to get SRS through back doors.

He should be countered
Muthalik’s plan to open branches of SRS in Goa should be countered with all the means at our disposal.  Here Goans of all communities live in brotherhood and harmony and we have no problems between us. Hence, why allow a potential trouble maker and rabble-rouser to enter our peaceful State of Goa and create tension?’ I would like to urge the chief minister to take a strong action and ban his entry into Goa. He should not be allowed to attend the Hindu convention which is underway in Ponda currently.

Govt needs to take a call
Government needs to take a call on the issue at the earliest. Though there is no law that prevents any individual from entering Goa but our peaceful fabric is currently at stake. We cannot allow destructive elements to enter into the State and create communal disharmony. Goa is known for its peaceful nature where all religions have their own rights and are highly respected by each other.

GFG plans pink cheddi movement
Goans For Goa (GFG) has strongly objected to the entry of Ram Sene, reminding Pramod Mutahlik that Goa has a BJP government and other law enforcing agencies to oversee and ensure that dance, pub and drugs does not pose danger to Goa.
GFG President Kennedy Afonso reminded Goans that Muthalik is far more dangerous and poisonous to the Goan youth, than “dance, pub and drugs” combined. “Goans will rather die of an overdose of “dance, pub and drugs” then allow a rabid like Muhalik and Ram Sene to destroy the Communal fabric of Goa,” Afonso added.
He said GFG is contemplating a “pink Cheddi” movement to thwart the entry of Muthalik into Goa, where the women of Goa will contribute one “pink Cheddi” which will be tied to all the electric poles on both the Mandovi bridges and on the road leading to Ponda until Parirkar bans Muthalik. “A pink cheddi movement” will also happen in the constituencies of the MLAs, who do not support this movement,” Afonso said.
