Suspected Cannabis Plant Found Near Old Mapusa Health Centre, Locals Alarmed

Residents in Mapusa have expressed concern after a suspected cannabis (ganja) plant was reportedly spotted growing near the old Urban Health Centre. The discovery has prompted locals to urge authorities to inspect the site and verify whether the plant is indeed cannabis.

Adding to the concern, the surrounding area was allegedly littered with beer and liquor bottles, cigarette boxes and used matchsticks, raising fears that the location may be frequented for illegal or nuisance activities.
