The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 will begin on February 7 across India and Sri Lanka, with Group A matches kicking off the tournament. Pakistan will face the Netherlands in a morning fixture at the SSC Cricket Ground in Colombo, marking the venue’s first men’s T20I match in 16 years. Later that evening, co-hosts India will start their campaign against the United States at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. Namibia are the fifth team placed in Group A. Interestingly, India, Pakistan and the USA were grouped together in the previous edition as well, where the Americans stunned Pakistan to reach the Super 8 stage. With slower Sri Lankan pitches expected, Pakistan will look to bounce back strongly after an early exit last time.
