MARGAO: A task force has been appointed for providing electricity, health care, education and other essential services to Vavurla village. After visiting the village, the task force would submit a report to the government of the present condition of the village.
Recently, the Director of Tribal Welfare Department Venancio Furtado chaired a meeting of various officials and residents of Vavurla on providing essential facilities to the village. The meeting was attended by Quepem Mamlatdar Prataprao Gaonkar, officials from PWD, WRD, electricity, health and education.
The villagers have requested the authorities for provision of water, electricity, schooling and accessible road for the village.
