Teen hit by train at Comba

A 14-year old girl was hit by a running train at Comba on Tuesday evening.
The girl Ayesha Sayed sustained grievous injuries on her left leg and was immediately rushed to the Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim.
Police said the girl was apparently trying to cross the tracks when she was hit by the running goods train.
Konkan Railway police said the police are yet to ascertain the exact cause of the incident as the girl is lying unconscious in the GMC.
The police said they will record the statement of the girl only on Wednesday.
Further investigations are on.
