PONDA: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has urged the temple management committees in Goa that they should cooperate in providing NOCs for conducting repair works of old houses located within their properties. He was speaking at the 26th idol installation ceremony of Sai Baba Temple, at Borim
Chief Minister Sawant further said temples and Comunidades can play effective role for the development of villages. He said religious organization should contribute towards development of the education and health sector and also encourage cleanliness. CM Sawant felicitated people from various fields contributed to social, religious, sports fields and meritorious students for their achievement.
Present on the dais were Speaker of Goa Assembly Ramesh Tawadkar, Water Resource Minister Subhash Shirodkar, Art and Culture Minister Govind Gaude, festival committee Chairman Chandrakant alias Babu Kavlekar, Chairman of Saibaba Devastan Committee Dinesh Naik and others.
