Goa Chief
Minister Pramod Sawant on Monday clarified that the IIT project will come up at
Sanguem only. The land identified for the project belongs to the government for which
permission to go ahead from others is not required said Sawant. The process is
delayed due to an agreement between the govt and the IIT team; once the team
visits the site, the agreement will be done said Sawant.
He further went on to
say IIT will bring change to the
constituency in terms of jobs and other revenues.
