This is a step in the right direction. However, it is seen that while there is need of at least one bus-stop at other places, there are as many as three bus-stops in close proximity to one another along the footpath at the junction. The three bus-stops occupy a lot of space. The question to be asked is whether three bus-stops are essential at a single spot? There are not many commuters waiting at these bus-stops and only one bus-stop would have served the purpose. It would be in the fitness of things to also relocate two of the bus-stops to another site, which will leave more open
space for pedestrians
to use the pavement.
