CURCHOREM: Junad Korwal, a resident of Tilamol-Quepem, died on the spot in a fatal accident that occurred at Kakumoddi-Xeldem in Quepem involving five vehicles on Thursday evening.
According to Quepem police the driver of a swift car Devrajan Marjayasam from Quepem was proceeding from Curchorem to Quepem. When he reached at Kakumoddi, he banged against a two wheeler from behind while overtaking the deceased bike rider Korwal who died on the spot.
The police also informed that later Devrajan dashed his car against an oncoming Honda car and later a jeep and a rickshaw and another two-wheeler whose rider Surendra Gaonkar from Balli-Quepem escaped with minor injuries.
