PANJIM: In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, Tourism Director Sanjiv Gadkar was transferred as the Special Land Acquisition Officer (SLAO) for the Mopa airport project, while the Chief Officer (CO) of Margao Municipal Council (MMC) Siddivinayak Naik has been posted as the Additional inspector General of Prison and Superintendent of Jails.
On the recommendation of the Goa Service Board, Governor of Goa on Thursday ordered the transfer and posting of senior scale officers, in public interest, with immediate effect. The order in this regard was issued by Under Secretary Shashank Thakur.
Menino D’Souza, the Registrar of Cooperative Societies has been re-posted as the Tourism Director replacing Gadkar. Vikas Gaunekar will now hold charge as the Registrar of Cooperative Societies.
Additional Inspector General of Prisons Ajit Panchwadkar has now been posted as the MMC CO.
The Director of Official Language, Sneha Morajkar has been appointed as Joint Secretary to Chief Secretary. The Director of Information and Publicity (DIP) Meghana Shetgaonkar will hold the additional charge of Director of Official Language.
Managing Director (MD) of Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) Nikhil Desai has been given the additional charge as Goa Housing Board MD. Desai has replaced Meghanath Porob, who has now been posted as the MD of Goa State ST Finance Development Corporation Ltd.
Narayan Gad will replace Gopal Parsekar as the Director of Panchayat. Parsekar has been transferred as the Additional Collector (II) North Goa. He has replaced Dashrath Redkar, who has been posted as the Additional Collector (I) North Goa, with additional charge as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the North Goa Zilla Panchayat.
Surendra Naik has been transferred as the Additional Collector (I) South Goa, while Agnelo Fernandes is the Additional Collector (II) South Goa.
Prasanna Acharya has been transferred as the Member Secretary, Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, replacing Rajendra Mirajkar, who has been transferred as the Director of Government Printing Press.
The Director of Social Welfare Parag Nagorcekar has been transferred as the SLAO for Goa Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC).
Umeshchandra Joshi, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as the Director of Social Welfare.
Managing Director of Goa Human Resource Development Corporation Derrick Neto has been given additional charge as the Director of Settlement and Land Records.
