On a daily basis, commuters are put to severe hardships due to
the nagging traffic congestion on the Mapusa Court to Old Municipality junction
stretch. A few schools are located by the road and the road gets congested when
parents come to drop and pick up their children. Besides, there is parking on either
side of the road. The traffic problem is aggravated since there are no traffic
police posted there at any part of the day.
Accidents too are a frequent occurrence on this stretch.
