MARGAO: Traffic diversions have been announced in Margao in view of beautification works on the Old Market Circle–KTC Bus Stand road, which are scheduled to begin from September 24.
Traffic police have advised motorists travelling through the affected stretch to follow the designated diversions and maintain a maximum speed limit of 30 kmph.

Commuters have also been urged to avoid the Old Market–KTC Bus Stand road wherever possible and use the Western Bypass and other alternative routes to reduce congestion and avoid delays during the construction work.
Traffic police have appealed to motorists to cooperate with the diversion arrangements and follow the instructions of personnel deployed in the area.
Motorists have been advised to plan their journeys accordingly and allow additional travel time while the beautification work is underway.
