PANJIM: In preparation for the 37th National Games’ opening ceremony at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda on October 26, the Goa Police have released a traffic advisory. The inaugural event from 2.30 pm to 8.30 pm will impact traffic on vari-ous roads, including the National Highway-566, NH-66, and other key routes. There will be no parking for all kinds of vehicles along the route from Fatorda’s Wholesale fish market towards Ravindra Bhavan-Arlem Junction, or in the open space opposite KTC bus stand, states the advisory. Alternate routes to Dabolim Airport have been provided for travellers. Additionally, the advisory outlines specific traffic flow changes for different locations, including Margao town, Nuvem, Colva, and Fatorda Stadium for the duration of the inaugural function.
