PANJIM: Days after being expelled from the party, former Congress General Secretary Trajano D’Mello has accused the party workers of being ‘cowards’ and alleged that the party President ensured Congress does not form the government despite winning the largest number of seats.
“The drama that unfolded in my expulsion under the cover of darkness is a clear indication that guilty consciences were ruffled. Being cowards the party failed to answer my questions on the very fact that Party President was solely responsible for Congress failure in forming the government,” D’Mello told media persons on Wednesday.
D’Mello has been expelled from the party for six years for his anti-party activities like statements against the party leadership.
