PANJIM: Trajano D’Mello on Saturday made it clear that he is ready to file a writ petition in the High Court if the FC Goa management does not pay the dues to the Sports Authority of Goa (SAG).
“As far as ISL is concerned at Fatorda and the casino tycoon taking it over, they have failed to pay the dues to the SAG amounting to Rs 1.67 crore and till now the SAG has come on tough that they will not allow them to play their next match if the dues are not cleared,” said Trajano.
“It’s a major scam, if the government authorities fail to take action and recover the dues, just like their doing with the EDM festivals, then I will not hesitate to file a writ petition in the HC,” he added
Meanwhile, SAG on Wednesday had warned FC Goa that they would not be allowed to play the next Indian Super League match at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Fatorda scheduled on November 11 if they fail to pay the dues of Rs 1.67 crore.
