VASCO: A tree cutter suffered injuries after he fell along with the palm tree that he was cutting at a house at Vaddem lake in Vasco, on Friday.
He was immediately taken to the sub-district hospital at Chicalim.
Station Fire Fighter Officer Dilip Bicholkar said that a palm tree had slid on the roof of a house near Vaddem Lake. The tree cutter was employed to cut and remove the tree from the house. While cutting down the palm tree, it suddenly got uprooted and fell to the ground. The tree cutter also fell to the ground with the tree and got injured. Later, the palm tree was cleared with the help of a hydraulic crane.
