POND: Vehicles suffered long traffic jam on Talauim-Ponda road as an old tree fell at Mahalaxmi Nagar of Talaulim.

Employees of Industrial estates at Ponda and Verna said this is the second time they are suffering a two hour long traffic jam due to a fallen tree. First was exactly a month ago, they said.
Ponda Fire Station sub-officer Yashwant Gawas said they received a call early morning about the fallen tree.
“Our personnel went immediately and got the tree cut for the smooth flow of the traffic,” Gawas said.
