TTMS rules out connection with Kapil Jhaveri case

MARGAO: Distancing itself from the incidents that happened in Goa with regards to the Kapil Jhaveri case, the Tirumalla Tirupati Multistate Coop Society (TTMS) said it has no connection with these incidents.

The TTMS has released a statement amidst doubts raised on the bank operations. The bank heads said the deposits with the bank are absolutely safe and added that they are true to their commitment to the shareholders.

“There is not a single complaint against the bank and its operations in either Goa or Maharashtra and Karnataka. Don’t believe the rumours that are being spread. Your deposits safe and will continue to remain so,” the officials said.

The bank was established under the Multistate Coop Societies Act 2002 and has been in operation for 7 years in Goa, Maharashtra and Karnataka with 17 branches in Goa. The TTMS was named as one of the institutions where Kapil Jhaveri is a director. The bank has distanced itself from the entire case.
