Colvale police arrested two persons for committing theft of construction material near Colvale bridge.
As per SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi while PSI Mandar Parab was performing night patrolling on 16/06/2022 he saw some persons moving suspiciously around the Colvale bridge. Accordingly, he detained them and questioned them during which they confessed to stealing construction material worth Rs. 75,000/- belonging to MVR company. They have been identified as 1. Arjun Pawar, age 20 yrs R/o Thivim and 2. Anil Prasad, age 20 yrs R/o Duler Mapusa.
Both of them have been arrested under section 379 IPC. More stolen material has been also recovered. Pi Colvale Somnath Majik is investigating.
