MARGAO: A complaint has been filed against unknown person for holding bull fight in Bagbhat, Raia and resulting in damage of private property.

Complainant Priya Kamat narrated that at Noon on April 12, a bull fight was going on when suddenly the bulls ran away from the fields and crashed into her vehicle which was parked on the adjoining road, damaging the wind shield of the car. A complaint has been registered under section 336 of IPC against unknown person for cruelty against animals and damage to public property.

In yet another case of bull fight, one Hemant Gaude on Sunday complained that on April 12, at 5 pm, accused persons Cassette, owner of ox named Fruit Salad, resident of Benaulim, and one Joseph, resident of Benaulim and owner of ox named Blacky, organized an ox fight near Benaulim Fisheries department on the beach in an open place.

A complaint has been registered against the accused under 11(M) (N) of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act-1960. The case is being investigated.
