VALPOI: The body of Baburao Palkar (29) of Ponda was found floating in Mhadai river at Guleli-Sattari on Monday morning.
Palkar was reportedly missing.
According to PI Sanjay Dalvi, a group of 15 youth from Ponda had gone to Murmune-Guleli for a picnic and when they ventured into the river for swimming they found the body of Palkar floating in the river.
Valpoi police conducted the panchanama and the body was sent for autopsy at GMC Hospital in Bambolim.
