Two held for assaulting cop

MARGAO, JUNE 8
Margao police arrested two persons for assaulting a traffic constable in the heart of the city at Caro corner on Monday evening.
The incident occurred when the traffic constable Sunil Naik stopped the duo travelling on a motorcycle. Heated arguments broke out between the duo and the traffic constable, which later resulted in a free for all situation.
The duo, Kasim Sayed and G Sattar, both from Housing Board, Gogol and Housing Board, Davorlim respectively have been arrested under section 353 of the IPC for assaulting a government servant on duty.
Further investigations are on.
