MARGAO: Two persons were arrested by Fatorda Police for obstructing police for discharging their duties on Wednesday.
Nitin Patkaro from Surla-Dharbandora and Suraj Pednekar from Tariwada, Tisk-Usgao, Ponda with their common intention allegedly obstructed and restrained the complainant i.e. traffic police and staff while discharging their lawful duty of traffic enforcement.
An offence has been registered under Section 353 r/w Section 34 IPC and Central Rule 50 upon the complaint of Suraj Samant, Police Inspector, Traffic Cell Margao to the effect.
