CURCHOREM, MAY 21
Two persons were seriously injured when a truck loaded with laterite stones damaged a the wall of a roadside cross and fell on its side at Dodyal, Xelvona on Friday afternoon.
According to reports, the truck (GA-09-U-9398) was proceeding from Curchorem towards Margao via Chandor, when the driver lost control of the vehicle. Two persons, Amey Dessai and Vithal Dessai, who were seated at a nearby shop, were seriously injured when laterite stones fell on them. They were later moved to the Hospicio at Margao.
Curchorem police is investigating the case
