MAPUSA: The Mapusa Police have registered a case against two individuals from Vasco for allegedly stealing a mobile phone valued at Rs 1.73 lakh.
According to the police, Abhinay Shrirang Narvekar, a resident of Ansabhat-Mapusa, filed a complaint stating that on January 26, at Golden Orchid, the accused—identified as Shreya Vardhan, also known as Shreya Surai Naik, from Headland Sada-Vasco, and Suraj Naik from Mandrem-Pernem—stole his daughter’s mobile phone. The accused are reportedly relatives of the complainant.

An FIR has been registered, and the case is under investigation by PSI Aditya Gad.
