MAPUSA: In a major setback to the Aam Aadmi Party in Goa, Shraddha Khalap along with her husband Shrinivas Khalap has resigned from the party on Wednesday. Shraddha Khalap was the AAP’s Mapusa candidate during the 2017 elections.
Shrinivas Khalap informed that they have resigned due to personal reasons. “We submitted our resignation to the party leaders and explained to them everything and they have accepted our explanation. We have resigned due to personal reasons, not for any political reason,” Shrinivas said.
