Two unknown persons found dead

Two unknown persons were found dead due to unnatural causes in South Goa on Monday — one at Comba and the other at Velsao beach.
Konkan Railway police informed that an unknown male person was found killed on the railway tracks at Comba.
They said the deceased was found lying dead with multiple injuries after he was hit by a speeding train.
The police rushed to the spot after receiving information at around 6 am that a mutilate body was found lying dead on the tracks.
The body was later sent to the Hospicio morgue for post mortem examination.
Meanwhile, Verna police retrieved an unidentified male body along the Velsao beach on Monday at about 6 pm.
According to Verna Police PSI Sushant Gawas, the deceased who is suspected to be in mid-thirties was wearing a black and yellow coloured T-shirt and black track paint.
PSI Gawas further informed that the height of the deceased is about five feet, while two holy threads were found in his neck with an idol of Sri Sai Baba and Cross.
Verna Police has preserved the body for identification at Hospicio in Margao and is investigating the case.
