LIC office inaugurated

PWD Minister Churchill Alemao on Monday inaugurated the SBA office of Life Insurance Corporation of India at Supreme Park Apartment, Aquem-Margao.
Speaking at the inaugural function of the new office, Alemao lauded the efforts of LIC and its agents in reaching out to people to get them covered under various security schemes beneficial to the people and in times of distress.Alemao urged upon the gathering to take all the benefits offered by LIC under various schemes.
LIC Senior Divisional Officer A K Madhankar urged people to take selling of insurance policies as it can help others in distress.
Marketing Manager B Mahji said this is the ninth such ‘Life Plus’ authorized premium collection and help center office of Life Insurance Corporation of India in the State and is set up by leading Development Officer of Curchorem LIC branch cum senior business Associate (SBA) Dayanand U Desai.
According to Sales Manager A Pachaco, life insurance is the most rewarding careers that Life of India Corporation of India is targeting to provide health cover to close to 10 million families in the coming year.
Dayanand Desai is the leading development officer in the Curchorem LIC Branch since the last 23 years.
Desai presently has about 15,000 clients in force with 52 leading agents in his organization and some of his agents are MDRT (Million Dollars Round Table USA) club members.
Desai has been given the authority to collect premiums and to appoint agents along with other seniors at their office at Aquem.
Dayanand Desai welcomed the gathering, while Agnelo Pacheco proposed the vote of thanks.
