MAPUSA: In two different narcotic raids, Mapusa Police arrested two youth identified as Ronit Harish Chonkar, aged 19, resident of Assonora and Shubham Chougule, aged 22, resident of Sanquelim for illegally possessing ganja worth Rs 4.15 lakh.
According to the police, based on prior information, first raid was conducted near four road junction, Karaswada wherein Chougule was caught red-handed with narcotic substance suspected to be ganja weighing 2.1 kgs worth Rs 2.10 lakh. The second was near IDC Karaswada, wherein Chonkar was caught red-handed for possessing ganja weighing 2.50 kgs worth Rs 2.5 lakh.
