MARGAO: The United Front of Quepem supported by the Congress has alleged that there is pinpointing and suppressing of candidates being done in Quepem. The UFQ on Friday launched its panel’s manifesto.
Manuel Colaco informed that a meeting was held in QMC and proposed to increase to 13 from 11 wards. “In Municipal Act there is a strict criterion for delimitation. Even after I objected the reservation was done. The reservation has to be clockwise or anti-clock wise. The way it has been done is absolutely illegal,” said Manuel who is the petitioner against the reservation of QMC.
