Unconscious woman found on Calangute beach hospitalised

The Drishti Surf Life Team shifted an unconscious woman at Calangute beach to the hospital for medical attention and also rescued another person from drowning at Benaulim beach.
On Thursday, the Beach Safety Patrol (BSP) Guard Dynaneshwar Mahale observed that a female member of a group lay unconscious on the shoreline of Calangute.
BSP guard informed the supervisor of Drishti and immediately rushed to her rescue. BSP Mahale found the female tourist in an unconscious state and all alone. Meanwhile, Sameer Tandel (BSP Supervisor) accordingly requisitioned the ambulance while informing the Calangute Police of the incident.
Another woman then approached the Drishti Surf Life Team identifying herself as the friend of the unconscious woman. The unconscious woman was then shifted to Primary Health Cenre, Candolim in accompany of her friend and the Calangute Police. The unconscious lady was later identified as Iada Miya (25), while her friend was identified as Sharon, both from Panjim. In another incident at Benaulim beach, Ashish Shiwalcoti (29) was rescued by Drishti Lifeguard Dattu Vir from the sea. 
Lifeguard Satish Sail who kept a close watch on the person swimming in deep waters noticed the person in distress and struggling in the sea.
Satish immediately informed lifeguard Dattu Vir who immediately swam to his rescue and brought him safely to the shores and was later handed over to his friend Jhaman Mahilam.
