VALPOI: Students of Unity High School, Valpoi, organised an e-waste collection drive under the Eco Club’s Mission LiFE initiative to promote responsible disposal of electronic waste.
As part of the drive, students collected discarded electronic items from their homes and brought them to the school for safe disposal.
The collected e-waste will be handed over to the concerned authority for proper recycling and scientific disposal, helping prevent electronic waste from being discarded through conventional waste streams.
The initiative also aimed to create awareness among students and their families about the harmful environmental effects of improper e-waste disposal.
Through the drive, the school sought to encourage students to adopt environmentally responsible habits and contribute towards sustainable waste management practices.
