MARGAO: A tree had fallen onto the road near a chapel at Pedda-Khareband on Tuesday which blocked traffic for several hours.
The road, which is otherwise a busy road, inconvenienced local residents, students, buses as well as other commuters in general. When the incident took place, there were vehicles on either side of the road and they had to reverse or take a u-turn and find an alternate route and this caused a traffic jam.
