VASCO: Vaddem Lake, which has been infested by green moss and algae, has been almost cleared on Thursday. Nearby locals from Vaddem saw that few labourers were busy removing overgrown moss from the lake by a machine.
The workers said that Dabolim MLA and Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho has provided with the machinery to clear the lake. It would take around three days to clear entire lake area.

The moss removal work was imminent since Ganesh idol immersion takes place there.
