Teen sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has once again become one of the biggest talking points of IPL 2026 after a stunning season with Rajasthan Royals. The youngster has scored 583 runs in 14 matches this year, building on his breakthrough IPL 2025 campaign where he managed 252 runs in just seven games.His fearless batting has already sparked conversations about a future India call-up, but IPL chairman Arun Dhumal believes the teenager’s journey must be managed carefully.Speaking to The Times of India ahead of the IPL Eliminator, Dhumal stressed that both the BCCI and Rajasthan Royals have an important responsibility in shaping the young cricketer’s future.

“I feel the BCCI and the franchise would need to handhold him in terms of showing him the right way so that his temperament stays intact.
