MARGAO: Hundreds of residents from Pedda-Dumottem and Pedda-Nomeio in Varca have again expressed their anger as they continue to face hardships due to lack of proper water supply.
The residents of two wards have been complaining of extremely low pressure of water trickling from their taps since October. They suspect that commercial establishments in the area are involved in tapping their water illegally, as a similar incident was reported a year ago.
“After a few days of normal pressure, it has gone back to a trickle. The water pressure is so low that it takes hours and hours to fill a single bucket, resulting in major problems to the people, and mostly to the school going kids,” said Mario Cardozo, a local resident
