MARGAO: 20-year-old Senroy Pinto, resident of Baradi, Velim who was on a scooter, died after he was knocked down by a Mahindra vehicle loaded with soft drinks in an accident that occurred near Toko Bar at Baradi.
Cuncolim Police informed that according to a complaint lodged by one Vishal Deessai, the driver of the Mahindra vehicle drove it in a rash and negligent manner at Baradi while proceeding from Betul to Velim and dashed onto the oncoming scooter.

Though Senroy was rushed to the South Goa District Hospital, he was declared dead on arrival and police have registered a case against the driver who is not yet identified.
