PANJIM: Bharatiya Bhasha Suraksha Mancha (BBSM) president Subash Velingkar on Tuesday decided to retire from active politics.
Addressing a press conference, Velingkar said that the decision to hang his boots comes after a direction from parent body Bharat Mata Ki Jai.
“The parent body wants a change in functioning and has directed me to retire. Following the atrocities on Hindus everywhere the Bharat Mata ki jai wants to bring all Hindu organisations under one banner to fight injustice,” he said.
