CANACONA: Joshua Barretto (15), who had lost his life in an unfortunate accident at Verna plateau on last Sunday, was laid to rest at the cemetery of St Anthony’s Church at Galgibaga after Eucharistic celebration on Sunday.
Hundreds of people including Galgibaga villagers, friends, relatives and people from surrounding villages participated in the Eucharistic celebration to pay final tributes to Joshua.
Joshua had lost his life after the car, in which he was travelling with his other two friends, fell into a depression off the road. He was was a ninth standard student of New Educational Institute in Curchorem.
Joshua’s parents hail from Katebag in Galgibaga.
