VASCO: An elderly man from Verna was injured after he was accidentally shot by a person at Verna.
According to Verna Police, Francis Dias stated that the incident had taken place on Sunday, when the accused tried to shoot a monkey with his firearm. He missed his target and instead, a pellet hit Francis’ father, Mariano, causing head injuries. Verna Police registered the case under Sections 338 IPC and Section 3 r/w 25 Arms Act and PSI Arjun Sangodkar is investigating the case.
