VALPOI: The Valpoi Muncipal Council on Wednesday held a meeting with the restaurants and the food stalls owners, which ended in heated arguments.
Chairperson Akhtar Shah said that he along with the Valpoi MLA Vishwajit Rane and the council members are all set to fight against the garbage menace. “We have planned to lift the commercial garbage on the same day from the food operators so that there is no black spot of garbage left,” he said.
I am glad taking a step towards swatchta and uplifting the Valpoi town to better standards as it’s one of the prime visions of our Health Minister Vishwajit Rane,” he said.
