PANJIM: St Andre MLA and Deputy Speaker Vishnu Surya Wagh was hospitalised on Saturday evening after suffering a heart attack, sources said.
Wagh, who was one of guests, at BJP vice president Anil Hoble’s birthday celebrations, complained of uneasiness midway through the function. He was immediately rushed to GMC in an ambulance.
Sources in GMC reveal he suffered a severe heart attack in the GMC lift before getting admitted. He was rushed to the CCU and angioplasty was on late night.
Various BJP functionaries visited the hospital.
