Vijai Sardesai has demanded that all groceries be categorised as essential commodities as per Central Government guidelines and social distancing be also enforced at these groceries with immediate effect.
Slamming the government over its abject failure to provide groceries and/or essential commodities to Goans during the last two days, he warned that the Govt’s continuing incompetence to manage the food supply will push Goenkar families especially with children and elders to the brink.
He advised Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant to emulate his counterparts in other states and adopt their solutions for the sake of Goa.
