War of words over Plan-B continues

Don’t need your permission to execute my plan, GFP chief tells PWD Minister

PANJIM: In a direct attack on its ally, the Goa Forward Party (GFP) President and TCP Minister Vijai Sardesai, on Thursday, urged MGP leader and Minister Ramakrishna (Sudin) Dhavalikar to introspect as because of whom Plan A (of forming coalition government) is not working and that he does not require the latter’s permission to execute his Plan B.
Sardesai’s statement comes a day after Dhavalikar asked him to form the government if he has an alternative Plan-B in place.
Speaking to media persons, Sardesai said that the whole exercise of forming Manohar Parrikar-led coalition government with a cause has been rocking because of Dhavalikar.
Claiming that there are two factions in MGP, Sardesai said there is MGP-I and MGP-II due to which his party has to think about Plan B.
“I think there is some misunderstanding. In any exercise, there is a Plan-A, if Plan-A does not work there is a Plan-B. There is lot of difference between what I am trying to say and what Sudin is trying to say,” Sardesai said. “First of all he should understand the meaning of Plan-B. What I am trying to say Plan-A is not working,” he added.
“Dhavalikar has to do some self-introspection to know because of whom the plan A is not working and then he will come to know,” the minister said, apparently referring to the threat by MGP to pull out from the government.
“For me to execute Plan-B, I don’t require his permission. I can do it on my own and I am from an independent party. I am not like him. I don’t have MGP-I and MGP-II. I am having Goa Forward I,” he commented.
